Walking in Wonder (WiW) was started by the Health and Well Being Ministry at Holy Cross Faith Memorial Episcopal Church in Pawleys Island, SC in late 2014. Walking in Wonder is intended to help us open ourselves to the beauty and depth of our surroundings… to hear, see and observe more intentionally and spiritually. WiW participants do short walks in beautiful places such as Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park, as well as wonderful neighborhoods in the Pawleys vicinity. We walk with intention and in silence — and then, at the end of our walks we meet in “community” to share our experience and reflections with our fellow walkers. This is not an endurance hiking program or a social walking club, but rather an opportunity to open ourselves to the wonder around us!
This blog will be a place to share photos, reflections, and related materials with our fellow walkers and the greater community who may have an interest. We hope you will be inspired to open yourselves to the incredible wonder, beauty and mystery all around us!
Blessings,
Nancy Laprade on behalf of the Wonder Walkers

Thank you Nancy, this is fabulous. I look forward to future walks and more sharing.
