Huntington Beach State Park – Jan. 2, 2021

After the walk in the park, I was so aware of the birds. Just as I arrived home, hundreds of black birds flew by. Walking in Wonder does not stop!

Living in the moment…unafraid…

The morning was overcast… some would call it gloomy. The ocean and the sky were united in their grayness. I found the beach to be both powerfully invigorating and profoundly peaceful… pounding surf, blanketing fog, sun shyly peaking through the clouds, glimmering reflections on the sea, sole seagull in contemplation. And then the gentle mist anointed my face as I looked toward the clouds in gratitude and prayer.
