I do dimly perceive that whilst everything around me is ever changing, ever dying, there is underlying all that change a living power that is changeless, that holds all together, that creates, dissolves and recreates...for I can see that in the midst of death, life persists, in the midst of untruth, truth persists, in the midst of darkness, light persists.
Mohatma Gandhi, Spiritual Message (London, Kingsley Hall, 20 October 1931)
Opening reading chosen by Amy W.

One of the hardest things to do is wait….the spirit is an experts in the art of waiting. To ask for this support is as easy as closing your eyes. Take a deep breath. Clear your mind. Speak in the silence of your heart. Ask for the spirit to come and wait with you. The spirit will be there, waiting by your side for as long as it takes.

In the midst of grief and pain, peace and serenity exist…
Today’s walk was the first one we had had since the pandemic began in March. I didn’t realize how much I had missed being together with our WiW community until I pulled into the parking lot with a very big smile on my face. My friends were such a welcome sight for my sore eyes. The walk in nature on this overcast day and our opportunity to be together as we socially distanced our chairs, were medicine for the heart and soul during these difficult days.
